The Sofa Bike, a bicycle and a sofa combined for a comfortable and green ride

Bicycle seats have always been a pain in the backside, literally. Well, if you’re one of those who wish to get around in an eco-friendly way as comfortable as your living room couch, this one’s sure to get you hooked on. Designer Jacek Holubowicz got a sofa and a bike to mate, or so it seems, giving rise to a mutant sofa-bicycle contraption, designed with the dole purpose of getting your around, in a green and comfortable way. Called the Sofa Bike, this one’s meant for two, with two sets of pedals and two separate 8-gear hubs with hydraulic braking and crank-steering. That’s not all. This one also boasts a folding roof and a sound system that juices up with rechargeable batteries.
