• The FOSCAT32, foldable catamaran that soaks in the sun

Electric bikes, and at times three-wheelers too, that can be folded and neatly tucked away aren’t all that uncommon these days. We’ve seen a load of these vehicles like the Bikeoff design, the bike by Mercedes, the three wheeled X-Frame and a lot more, all able to neatly fold up and downsize. A folding catamaran however is completely out of the box! The FOSCAT32 cat-boat is the first of its kind and can be folded up when required. Designed by Turkish designer HAKAN GÜRSU, this catamaran is green too, making use of energy from the sun to power up! Boasting near zero emissions, this vessel uses integrated double layered solar panels.

Being foldable and powered by alternative energy, the FOSCAT32 makes an ideal carry-along vessel that can be carried out on larger ships and deployed when required.
