More of a jigsaw puzzle than a vehicle, this truck, known as the Womble Truck, was put together with parts from recycled cars. 21 different cars to be precise. This could probably be Britain’s greenest car, and ugliest too. Well, this car needs to be taken seriously. It can reach speeds of up to 110mph, drinking up just vegetable oil and chip fat.

The car’s creator, Buzz Knapp-Fisher, spent the last six years putting this car together and ensuring it to be an almost carbon-free mode of transport. The car, using parts from a Sixties Morris 1000, Seventies Mini, a Ford, a Reliant Robin, an MG Midget, a Vauxhall Viva and a Volvo 740 cost just £250 to purchase initially, with additions from other vehicles. A scavenger hunt thru a scrap yard for car parts with a clean engine seems like the best way to have a real eco-friendly environment loving recycled car.
