Tesla Roadster 2.5 – An electric sports car by Tesla launched today

Tesla has done it before with the clean and green Roadster, an electric sports car based on the Lotus Elise. Here’s another version of the awesome sports car, the Tesla Roadster 2.5, recently unveiled by the company. The newer version of the car was launched at Tesla’s stores in Copenhagen and Newport Beach, California, and is the fourth Roadster version to hit the streets. The car sports a new front fascia and rear diffuser, and loads of other goodies like improved seats, an optional 7” touch screen navigation system, better interior sound reduction, power control hardware and some sweet directional forged wheels, with silver and black to chose from.

Tesla do not plan to release a new car for at least the next two years, and the much awaited Model S will probably have its wake up call in 2012. The company however, is pretty happy tweaking their Roadster baby and rolling out improved versions. This one sure scorches the road, keeping its act clean, green and electric.
