Suzuki to launch electricity-powered e-Let’s scooters with Sanyo batteries

Suzuki recently joined the e-scooter bandwagon with its green and eco-friendly mode to transport, the e-Let’s. A pretty practical vehicle for solitary travelling around town without choking the environment with emissions that would result if gasoline was used, this electric scooter sports a 30km range on a full belly. With a top-speed of 30km/h, this sure might not be the fastest way around town, though judging by the technology used, we’re pretty sure it might just be the greenest! The e-Let’s makes use of Sanyo batteries by the Panasonic Group and will come with a price tag of ¥312,900 or about $4,029, while the “W” package containing an extra battery comes for ¥396,900 (approximately $5,110).
