• Schluckspecht EV goes a thousand miles on a single charge!

  • 4.jpgIf you’ve been having doubts about just how efficient electric cars really can get, have a look at this one! Called the Schluckspecht EV, a name that’ll take longer to learn than charging the car itself, this vehicle’s one of the most efficient to ever have surfaced our planet earth. With a range of more than a thousand miles on a single charge, this one has broken past a previous EV range record set at 623 mile, instead clocking an awesome 1,103 miles (1,631.5 km)! Using 14 lithium-cobalt battery packs, this the EV was driven by four drivers in a 36-hour span for the record.

And with efficiencies like these showing up in consumer vehicles in the future, we’re pretty sure gas stations will begin collecting dust!
