• Saab will launch 100 electric vehicles in 2010

  • saab_logo.jpg When the big wigs do it, you have to follow. This indeed is true, that when the big boys do something, the small boys imitate them, to be in trend, at least. Saab, the leading car firm has decided to launch about 100 electric models of Saab 9-3 during 2010. These test models would be leased to the commoners and companies across Sweden. Electric vehicles have been in and around, but unless we all take it seriously, no visible change in the environment is going to happen. The company has also confirmed that the lithium-ion battery manufacturer Boston-Power has joined its electric vehicle coalition, which also includes engine maker Electroengine, project managers Innovatum and trade body Power Circle.
