• Mercedes’ electric super car

    The German automaker confirmed today that they are building an electric super car and has also provided some specs on the electrified all-wheel drive version of the upcoming SLS AMG. The lithium-ion battery runs down the center of the chassis. Another pair of motors and controllers is outback, along with gearbox. The four motors give a combined output of 392 kilowatts and an outstanding 649-pound per torque. There is no official word on when the car will be out for commercial use but there are rumors stating that the car will see the light of the day by 2015.
