Tesla fans can now zoom off from 0-60 mph in just 3.7-seconds on the new all-electric Tesla Roadster Sport. This speedy green baby from Tesla was shown off at an event in New York City dedicating their first store on the East Coast. Sporting a price tag of $128,000, it features a hand-wound stator and increased winding density. Such a system allows more wires to be used within the electromagnet, which in turns allows for more current to hit each segment increasing the current. The higher current then spins the attached rotor faster which spells the reason for increased speed capability. Enhanced speed on an electric sports car from Tesla will kick up the adrenalin for all those who seek clean speedy drive.
