• LA Metro to hire more LNG buses

    Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority had ordered 200 compressed natural gas buses. These buses have worked so well that the LA Metro is planning to hire another 96 more. These vehicles are operated by Cummins Westport vehicles. The buses are 20 feet longer than the normal buses but they bring in 30 percent more power by using a 6 cylinder. 8.9 L CWI L Gas Plus CNG with 320 HP. This is perfect for the cities as they help to cash in with lower operational costs, better performance and also more importantly less emissions.
