With space-crunches now turning common-place, and parking spaces slowly being squeezed out of their capacity, owning a larger car isn’t really the smartest way to personal travel. The Kobot electric vehicle concept that we came across recently at the Tokyo Motor Show however, could ease up parking spaces and roads in the near future. By Kowa Tmsuk, these vehicles come are available in three versions, the Kobot ν (nyu) and the Kobot β (beta) which accommodates a single person and the Kobot π for two. These vehicles fold up and collapse for easier parking with a footprint of just 30-inches!

However, don’t expect this one to keep up with the speeds of your expensive gas-guzzling sports car. With speedometers that touch 30km/h, the Kobot electric vehicles are good enough to keep up with the usual urban crawl.
