Well, the Tesla has finally got a mean machine to compete with when it comes to electric supercars. We’ve had electric cars show up before, loads of them. These aren’t made to be sporty or drop any amount of G-force in your lap with astounding speeds. Li-ion Motors from North Carolina has come up with this super sweet super car, all electric, the INIZIO. Hailed as the first all American-made electric supercar, the INIZIO can drive up to 250 miles powered by electricity alone. The car boasts a jaw dropping top speed of 170 mph, not that we haven’t seen cars go faster than this, but then again, it’s electric! With room for two, not our ideal electric family car, the INIZIO also packs in some luxuries like leather or suede Recaro seating with heating and cooling features, a 12-inch subwoofer, digital surround sound and a lot more to make the guys waiting at the signal stare with wide eyed wonder.

With no carbon emissions whatsoever and taking just 8 hours top charge up, the INIZIO could be parked in your garage for $139,000! One of the quickest electrics in the house!
