• Future Saab 9-5 to cut down on Co2 emissions for cleaner drives

Saab’s 9-5 2.0TiD is all set to go a shade greener, and a lot cleaner too. The car will adopt a whole new avatar and cut down on all those little substances spewing out of the tail pipe that make us cough and choke the environment. Well, if you’re still wondering what we’re on about, get a hold of this. The Saab 9-5 will have a decreased Co2 emission level in the entry level diesel. The currently available version coughs up 139g/km. The future versions though, will cut down to 120g/km.

Saab aims for a 115g/km emission level, which could be achieved using a new 1.6-liter engine. An emission level as low as 115g/km, could push the Saab 9-5 in the BMW 3-series’ league, weighing and measuring considerably more too. We’d love to see this cleaner and greener future entry-level Saab.
