Fuel-cell car to be rolled by Toyota by 2015

The world’s top automaker, Toyota has said that it plans to launch a fuel cell based car by the year 2015. Fuel cell technology is considered a cutting-edge technological solution for reducing carbon emissions as it generates electricity by combining a fuel usually hydrogen with oxygen and there only emits water. Fuel cell systems still is very expensive mainly because of the technology involved and the fact that it is very difficult to store enough hydrogen in a vehicle to allow it to travel as far as a normal car. Let’s hope things work out so that it will benefit us and the planet as a whole.
