Forever, wind-solar powered boat made from recycled bottles

We’ve seen vessels waving the green flag above before, most of which packs some pretty high-tech gadgetry, making them green and eco-efficient. This World Ocean Day however, a green boat took to the seas, made from materials as simple as recycled plastic bottles. Christened “Forever”, this boat from Taiwan is made from roughly about 700 bottles and powers up mainly by the wind and solar energy. And if you’re wondering just how sea-faring this one is, we assure you, its capable enough to take to the seas and has already set off on its maiden voyage!

Giving a load of plastic bottles destined for the landfill a new purpose in life, Forever sure knows how to sail green and stay green!
