• Float is a solar powered foldable catamaran

Looking to spend some quality time out at the lake, floating lazily across the water surface? Well, you don’t really need to rent out an expensive yacht to do just that anymore, not with the Float around at least. Designed by Jeffrey Greger, the Float is a foldable catamaran that powers up with solar energy. Using retractable solar cells that can also be used as a sunscreen, the Float is steered via a gyroscopic handle and sports mesh-hammock-like-seating arrangements that allow users to lie back and enjoy their trip across the water. The hammock is cleverly designed to give the user a feeling of lying flat on sand!

Once you’re finished with your lake-top vacation, the Float can be easily folded up and tucked into a rooftop car carrier too!
