Ferrari Enzo to go hybrid in future

If you’ve spent your time drooling over the mean red machine by Ferrari, the Enzo, here’s something that’s sure to grab your eco-conscious attention. Now a person driving a Ferrari obviously doesn’t care much about fuel economy, but we sure do, which is why we just love the Ferrari’s thought into turning the Enzo into a hybrid. Recently, the chairman of Ferrari, Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo confirmed that the new Enzo will nestle a hybrid drivetrain in future. The car will be based on the 599 HY-KERS concept. Using a battery pack and electric motors, the Ferrari will soon have high-cylinder-count engines without too much fuel consumption or emissions.

The good old red Ferrari might just go green hopefully in future, making the world’s favorite supercar a green hearted one.
