Well, this sure is one plane you can have parked in your garage, at home. The aviation industry is quickly developing today, adopting new technology for cleaner and greener flying experiences. Why fly in those boring old aircrafts and pay for those expensive tickets? Why stand in security checks and waste all that precious time, when you can simply fly away in your own little aircraft! The LSA “Light Sport Aircraft”, designed by Oyvind Roar Berven and Tomas Brodreskift could be the future way of taking to the skies.

Known as the EQP2 Excusion, this aircraft can seat two with a maximum speed of 220kts and a cruising speed of 220kts. It uses a Concept Electronic Power Source to power up. In simpler terms, this aircraft is powered by electricity. Standing 2.65m high and 6.2m in length, the EQP2 Excusion has a 9m wingspan. The designers sure hope to see a prototype of this baby up in the skies by 2013, and we hope so too! And being powered by electricity, means a clean green flying experience too!
