• Electric three-wheeled tourist vehicles in Japan

These vehicles can seat three and remind you of a Japanese fan that are actually doors made of “washi” a traditional Japanese paper, coated with vermilion lacquer. So what have environment lovers to love in this? It’s an EV! The vehicles are powered up using lithium-ion batteries and can be easily recharged using the outlets at home. They can easily touch speeds of 40kmph. Costing around ¥2.30 million, this vehicle will be produced on a built-to-order basis by four small companies, who together came up with this vehicle. The manufacturers are however trying to lower this cost of production to less than ¥1 million. a great boon to tourism, this vehicle is sure to grab hearts and the attention of tourists.
