BRD Motorcycles unveils electricity-powered dirt bike

We’ve had electric superbikes before. Here’s a two-wheeler, again powered by electricity, though capable of doing a lot more than just riding up and down the asphalt! Developed by BRD Motorcycles, the RedShift bike is designed specifically for off-road and urban use. The bike was unveiled very recently at a Dainese D-Store in San Francisco and BRD promises a riding experience unlike any other. The bike delivers a range of about 50 miles.

BRD expects its electricity powered dirt grinder to give like-minded gas guzzlers a run for all their worth and we’re pretty sure the RedShift will do pretty well, roaring up the rough terrain with its electric heart.
