Looking at BMW’s latest, we just can’t help wishing the future came quicker! Well, these two cars might not ever touch production lines, though the very thought put behind their design and development has left us gazing in awe! The automotive firm unveiled two electric cars, the i3 concept, designed to be a urban commuter with a range of 150 kilometers (93 miles) and a 125 kilowatt (167 horsepower) motor driving the rear wheels, using a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic for weight reduction and better strength and the i8 on the other hand is a paradigm shift away from any sports car we’ve ever seen in the history of the automotive industry probably. The car sports an all-wheel drive system with a total of 349 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque and weighs in at just 3,262 pounds.

We’re just going to keep our fingers crossed and hope that these two drool worthy cars do make it to the asphalt! We wouldn’t mind one of these parked in our drive ways after all!
