• Sloan AQUS Greywater System to help recycle bathroom water

The most annoying and displeasure creating chore in the house is plumbing especially when it comes to the toilets. This company called Sloan Valve Company has come up with the Sloan AQUS Greywater System for the bathroom that is easy to install and works with the existing fixtures. What it does is filters the water that goes down the sink drain and then uses it to flush the toilet hence saving up to 5,000 gallons of potable water each year. How cool is that!

This system will help contribute to LEED accreditation. Let us only hope and pray that this system, if it becomes a universal household feature, the filters work really well. And there’s no mention of the odor factor. Ok, I am not buying it.
