When people have visions for their house, they want to make a perfect atmosphere to feel very much at home. Some people go out of their ways to make ideas for such people so that they can have their perfect dream home or office or habitat. At the 2009 Milan Furniture Fair, Maruja Fuentes’ green pockets aka houseplant made of recycled materials was spotted. This is a collection of ceramic tiles attached to any wall to create the illusion that whatever’s inside—herbs, plants, a flower or two—is growing directly out of a room’s surface.

Alongside pockets, there are also flat tiles, which further increases the design possibilities. These small bowls on the wall will provide a great accessory with your choice of flower or plant pattern with your choice of flowers – and the more you keep the more eco-friendly you will be. The designer is a Puerto Rican and looks like this is an idea that will sell like hot cakes especially in desert islands where some greenery is an oasis.
