• Recycle old sneakers into solar -powered shoe lamps!

    Ever wondered what use a pair of old shoes can be? Or are you obsessed with flinging shoes around? Playing around with worn out shoes is now more enjoyable with the newly introduced Solar Street Light Kit from Lost Values. This kit was inspired by “Shoefiti” and was originally an exhibition piece by the Scottish design firm. The kit compromises of solar cells and LED’s. They can be used on any pair of sneakers. You can now make yourself some cool garden lamps using your old kicks or simply use them as street lights and help people passing by watch their step.

    The kit comes in two sizes, for kids and adults. It is also available in white LED’s or “mood changing” colorful ones. The weather proof circuitry prevents it from dampness and harsh climates. So give your old shoes a new life and lighten up your garden!
