Many of us boast of eco-conscious but how many have dared to step out of the box to raise awareness by doing something substantial? Put your hands together for Elliott Montgomery who stepped out in the Union Square, New York City for a green cause. Along with his team, he set up a solar powered MicroCycle project. This booth exhibited the need to recycle salvaged materials into eco-friendly cloth shopping bags. They actually manufactured such green bags and sold them, not for money but for a green idea. People could pick one up by simply providing ideas about localized manufacture, materials sourcing and likewise. There are so many ideas that are hibernating in our minds. Its just that we need someone like Elliott Montgomery to help us tap our grey cells to churn out green ideas!
