With toughness comparable to any plastic, and the natural beauty of hardwoods and Bamboo, hand-crafted ipod and iphone cases are surely the most environmentally friendly, not to mention distinctive, gadget covers on the market today. Wood is the most abundant renewable material on the planet. Vers cases take advantage of hardwoods such as Walnut and Cherry, combined with the quick growing grass Bamboo, to create a desirable and sustainable product that will protect any ipod or iphone from day-to-day wear and tear.

    Remarkable Bamboo
Bamboo grows at a remarkable rate of up to 3 inches a day, reaching a harvestable height many times faster than a hardwood tree. It is also harvested by hand, meaning less CO2 is produced in the processing compared to conventional timber. It’s also amazingly strong, with a tensile strength per square inch greater than steel.
    Nothing to Waste
The tree fibre used for the cases leaves nothing to waste. The entire tree from roots to branches is used. Each case is hand-crafted to be snug-fitting, strong and resistant to moisture and scratches. The paper used in the packaging is also made entirely from recycled sources.
Whilst there is always an environmental cost to any manufacturing process, the seeds of sustainable product development are beginning to bloom in this bespoke product.
