• Save water, and a fish’s life, with the Poor Little Fishbowl

  • Poor-Little-Fish.jpg
Do you love fish? Well, you then probably won’t let the water run off in sinks anymore! We came across the Poor Little Fishbowl concept by Yan Lu, a Chinese designer, that’s innovative, comic and to some, vicious. Pinching humanity to save water, the design includes a fishbowl atop a sink. As the water runs from the tap, the level of water in the fishbowl keeps decreasing, while the worried little goldfish almost meets death, thanks to your ignorance. So keep little Goldie alive, make sure you shut the taps off the moment you’re done. And no, you aren’t really using the fish water to wash your hands. The concept is just designed to look that way. The water in the bowl returns to normal levels once the tap is turned off.

And if you’ve got murder on your mind, the Poor Little Fishbowl isn’t really helpful, taken that all the water in the bowl doesn’t drain, making sure Goldie stays alive to fool someone else into water conservation!
