Relief ark on the moon could help post-apocalypse earthlings survive

Remember Noah’s Ark during the great flood that drowned the earth of its sin? Well, the European Space Agency is planning an ark of its own, just incase doomsday does arrive, and we need to move out and escape to the moon. The Agency sure has been looking well into the future, and is making arrangements for an apocalypse, wherein the earth is wiped out of all its resources, data, and everything else. The survivors post-apocalypse will need to start again, probably by discovering fire again, taken that there won’t be any plastic lighters around. Well, a stocked up base on the moon could help these future survivors survive and build the human race again, probably. And the best part is its powered completely by solar energy, so no carbon creating up there on the moon.

A lunar information bank is to be built, which would help future post-apocalypse earthlings will a remote-access toolkit, basically hard discs holding information such as DNA sequences and instructions for metal smelting or planting crops. These will be buried in a vault, just incase E.T. shows up and decides to play a prank on the human race. Well, we’re not sure how the survivors will make it to the moon, but the thought seems pretty considerate.
