Nothing gets better than a bit of music, with an added shade of green to it. And that’s just what you’ll have, if you are a Jack Johnson fan. The pop-star loves the environment just as much as we do, which is why, his concert in Hawaii had a bicycle valet-parking enclosure too. The annual Kokua Festival, established by Johnson and his wife Kim in 2004 is indeed a crowd pulley. Buying tickets help with carbon-offsetting, something most gig organizers haven’t thought of before.

With Johnson along with his band headlining, the concert lasts two nights and pulls in around 20,000 people, each of whom are influenced by the pop-stars green ideologies. Proceeds of the gig go to a non-profit organization, Johnson’s Kokua Hawaii Foundation that supports environmental education in schools and communities on the beautiful island areas. Educating children of the environment around them through music seems the best way out. Cheers to Jack Johnson!
