NYC boasts of night clubs at almost every corner of the streets. So how does one more opening of a club in NYC make a difference? The owner Jon B has cashed on the latest fad of eco-friendly lifestyle to open the doors of the world’s first eco-friendly club. Located at 150 Varick St. in SoHo, Green House is the coolest green club where clubbers can party hard in a green style. The club will serve green liquor, the eco-friendly 360 Vodka, which is made in a green distillery and shipped in reusable bottles. Spread over 6,000-square-foot space and stretching up to two levels, this club is supported by walls made of sustainable bamboo. While the whole of the club is powered by 100 percent wind-powered along with the sound system, the green set up is lit up by LED light bulbs.

However roof of the club is not lined with dozens of windmills. The club owner is green smart to use ‘renewable energy credits’ for such a purpose. This means that green power is created somewhere else in the country to replace the regular energy that powers the nightclub. Also the use of waterless urinals and low-flow toilets add on to its list of green features. Not to forget the ethanol powered dishwashers too! Another green feather on its roof is the LEED certification, the official stamp of approval from the US Green Building Council.
