Be it good old Woodstock or just about any festival today. Revelers leave behind a load of dump and waste, walking home from a scene that usually looks like it has been hit by an earthquake. However today, organizers are looking forwards towards greener festivals world over, and so are Vanessa Harden and friends at Do the Green Thing who’ve come up with an innovative way of reducing all the mess after festivals. The team has created a bio-degradable tent that simply decomposes after the party’s over and everyone leaves, hand in hand replenishing the soil at the same time. The tent is waterproof, easy to assemble, is cheap and disposable and stays out of the landfill, instead going back to nature! The tent has had its trial runs at the T in the Park festival in UK, with 100% positive responses left behind by those who came to have a look at it.

All we need now is bio-degradable plates, cups and straws to make every festival green!
