Now make your exercises benefit more than just you and your health. Jakub Szczesny has designed a floating island on a river where visitors can purify the river water through exercising. It basically is a water treatment plant powered by human muscles where the people perform various fitness exercises and thereby pump polluted river water via kinetic pumps integrated in the fitness machines to the four filters and tanks at the end of the mechanism. What I absolutely love about the mechanism, apart from its functionality is the color combination- the purple and yellow combi has been an all-time favorite when it comes to gyming and fitness exercises.
