SolarVoice solar charged Bluetooth handset by i.Tech Dynamic

A Bluetooth set is probably the most important and safe gadgets that we need today – what with people who cannot live without their mobile phones, even a second. And now since the mantra of this era is alternative energy, the SolarVoice 908 has been unveiled by Hong Kong-based i.Tech Dynamic – a solar charged Bluetooth headset. It features noise reduction for improved audio clarity, Bluetooth stereo for streaming music and also allows you to pair up to two phones at the same time. It can be fully charged in 15 hours under optimal sunlight. The company however advises users to charge the accessory via the A/C mains or USB port for around three hours while using it for the first time. On standby, it can charge itself indicated by a flashing green LED.

The SolarVoice comes with four earbuds of different sizes and a cradle specially designed to hold the headset so the solar panels face the sun at the right angle. The talk time is for 5 hours and standby as long as there is sunlight. It will be available in Singapore from September 10 for $72.94.
