Sanyo launches environment friendly multiple use eneloop lamp

Sanyo has come up with yet another inspiring product. It is the eneloop lamp that can be used as a regular lamp or even a flashlight by just holding it vertically or EVEN as a healing lamp by switching it from white to blue lighting. It can be charged wirelessly and two eneloop AA batteries are enough to power the futuristic device for 6 hours in flashlight mode, up to 45 hours in white light mode and up to 16 hours in blue light mode. Also a lot of products have been launched as part of eneloop like the solar cell-incorporated eneloop solar charger, eneloop solar light with USB power port, rechargeable hand warmer eneloop kairo, rechargeable portable warmer eneloop anka, rechargeable lap blanket eneloop soft warmer, eneloop mobile booster – a charger set and lithium-ion batteries equipped with a USB power port, eneloop air fresher – a portable air purifier equipped with the virus washer technology and the eneloop bike – an electric hybrid bicycle. Wow! That is some serious eneloop green stuff.

The eneloop lamp will cost you only $160 and will be available in Japan by September. The company believes in “reusing instead of disposing” and this lamp originated from the concept of “looping energy”. It combines the user-friendly benefits of dry cell batteries by coming pre-charged with the economic and environmental benefits of rechargeable batteries by being rechargeable up to 1,000 times and recyclable once it reaches the end of its life.
