NEC remote works without electricity!

There have been so many times when the batteres of my remote have run out and the laziness to replace them is so strong that so many times the remote lies with the same battery; this could also be not-so-good for your remote in turn. But NEC Electronics has now come up with a unique batteryless remote control. It is a rmeote that will never require batteries and will also never run out of power. The remote in fact is powered with the vibration created when the user presses any of the buttons that thereby generates a small amount of electricity to perform the required function. The remote, or at least its power unit, is being developed in conjunction with another company called Soundpower.
