We have always been such a fan of Microsoft. The software, the inventor – everything. Now they are doing a bit for saving the earth by launching this new application. Microsoft’s latest eco-application, Hohm, is a green answer to Google’s PowerMeter. ‘It is a free online beta application that helps you save energy and money’. This application will provide close to accurate and relevant suggestions for energy conservation as its users contribute home energy input and feedback. You will also be able to later on upload energy usage data into the system automatically, provided you’re getting voltage from one of the partner companies.

If you are interested, you can now sign-up for the beta and hit the read link if you want a chance to participate.
