LG adds solar powered cell phone to its line of eco-friendly gadgets

Samsung is leading the green path with the advent of high-tech solar powered Blue Earth cell phone. And LG intends to spice up the green race with a similar version too. All set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, LG’s eco-friendly cell phone will also soak sun’s energy and deliver a three minute talk time at the rate of ten minutes of solar charging. Other green credentials come from eco-friendly packing and manuals printed on recycled paper. Even the in used will be soy based. Though not much is known of this cell phone, I’ll still opt for the Blue Earth in my pocket.
