Not much is known about this green gadget. However, I wanted to share with all my readers whatever is in my knowledge about the iUnika Solar. Launched by the Spanish company iUnika, it is a solar-powered netbook. Fitted with solar panels on the top of the LCD screen, iUnika netbook is based on Linux operating system. At just 700gm (1.5 pounds), it is light in weight as well as lighter on pockets too for 160-Euro ($220-dollar). However I am sure it will come with grid connectivity option too as work cannot stop if the sun shies away behind the clouds or after sunset.
