Slowly the solar power will gobble everything that we deal with in our daily lives. For example, even a bank drive-through. The LCNB Bank is claiming to be the world’s first one to install such a thing at its South Lebanon branch. The drive-through is built by US-based E.F. Bavis and Associates Inc. the branch will have a solar panel that charges a 12-volt battery, which in turn powers the drive-through lanes delivery system. This design uses less than one-10th of the power of the old pneumatic tube systems. The bank has said that it will not operate any differently than how it used to and will continue working even on cloudy days as the battery can store enough power to handle 1,000 transactions.
