Eco-friendly Enepo generator by Honda Motor
After hybrids, now it’s time to move on to other parts and accessories to find greener alternatives. The Honda Motor Co Ltd is soon going to unveil a home-use generator that uses a canister of liquefied butane as fuel in the spring of 2010. The Enepo will be equipped with a sinewave inverter and will have a rated power output of 900VA. It can be used with things that consume a power of 900W or less. The company’s main aims in introducing this generator were to use it as a back-up power supply in case of a power failure, a charger for electric power tools and a power source for gardening tools.
