For people who use more laptop than air, this one may be of interest and also help in saving the environment. The Modulus is an eco friendly sustainable laptop designed by industrial designer Ed Boaden. This laptop can assemble and disassemble various parts using the snap fittings and it opens in such a way that facilitates better air flow under the laptop helping to keep it cool. The hinged design also enables you to just lift up the cover so access to the internal components is not a problem either. Repairing is also made easier and more cost effective. Instead of replacing the entire set, you need to only replace the individual component.

The laptop is it seems ideal for using in places like schools, libraries and offices. The green attributes of this eco friendly laptop is that with thin client computers most of the processing is done on a central server so there is less energy consumption. The replacement parts are sent back to be recycled or re-used. It will be displayed at the Lakeside Arts Centre University Park Nottingham UK from May 30 to June 2.
