• The Solight traps solar power to feed you solar-energy-starving plants

Now if you live in a crowded city, with hardly any parking space or room to move, enjoying a bit of sunlight sure seems a lot more difficult, taken that you stay indoors most of the time, too busy with work. Also, those colossal sky-scrapers don’t let too much of the sun’s light down on the street below. And so, the sun pretty much isn’t a major part of an urban-dwellers life. Well, maybe we’re fine with it, though our little green friends aren’t! We’re talking about those potted plants you keep home, that yearn for a good dose of sun juice. Designer Lee Ju Won came up with a pretty innovative idea though, the Solight, that stores solar power for your potted plants. Trapping the sun’s energy, the Solight then exposes plants it’s placed over to what could actually be “natural” sunshine.

How come no-one thought of this before!
