The Big Apple needs some intervention form the winds, if it ever has to reduce its carbon emissions in the years to come. If all goes as planned and the projects come true, the City of New York can increase its wind power production six fold by the year 2018, increasing production from 1,275 megawatts to 8,000 MW! Currently, hoards of energy companies have submitted proposals to the New York ISO, hoping to increase wind power production for the city by building around 7,000 MW of wind projects, powering up 2.3 million New York homes with clean and renewable energy.

We anticipate a greener future for the City of New York and pray that cities around the globe start making a change too.
