• Opalio Powerbanner charges up with the sun

  • We’ve heard of environment-friendly green billboards before, like the one’s that showed up at Times Square in New York. Here’s yet another way to advertise, with a green touch to it. Billboards as we know them are energy hogs, sucking in power during lighting up hours. We came across one that doesn’t really drink out of the grid to light up. Instead it uses solar power! The Opalio Powerbanner sheds its banner look and turns into a digital signage at night, using LEDs to illuminate. These LEDs are integrated into the banner material and make use of integrated solar panels to soak in the sun’s heat during the day and power up at night.

Indeed a better option than those energy sucking billboards we have around, the Opalio Powerbanner is sure to catch on.
