• Miami Beach hosts wind-powered light show

The Miami Beach area is indeed a beautiful place, vibrant and full of life. To add to it, came along the annual Art Basel Miami Beach four day long celebration, brining along with it an interactive light display that helps educate people on the power of wind. These lights use natural elements to power up, and are an artistic network of reflective and phosphorescent light ropes creating a canopy that sway in the sea breeze. Seven miles long, the ‘floating ropes’ are activated by wind-speed sensors, detecting specific wind speeds and activating adjacent ultraviolet lights. Also, blowing on a lower lever lighting charges it up.

Beneath these glowing ropes lies a clearing with hammocks for visitors to relax their tired feet and enjoy the wind-powered light show. A once in a life time experience!
