• China to experiment solar thermal energy plant

Construction these days come in such amusing designs that you are tempted to buy a copy of Ayn Rand’s Fountain Head and be inspired firmly to be an architect. A 1.5 MW solar thermal power plant, Dahan, is being planned to be built near Beijing starting next month. It will be located near China’s Great Wall and is designed to supply power to 30,000 households by 2010.

This is apparently the original designs by the Chinese so as much as we may have some room for concern, we can wait and hope this will turn out to be a super cool, ennery saving yet producing plant.
