• Chicago to get a wind powered electric charging station

Almost a year ago, Chicago was the proud resident of its first ever solar powered EV charging station. But this time around, they have gone a step further and developed a charging station that uses wind energy. That sure is a new thing. Little wonder then that Chicago is known as the wind city. The station is located in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park and the wind power comes from a law firm that has partnered with MC Squared Energy Services to get all of their energy from wind. This automatically leads to a reduction of the harmful greenhouse gases.
