Limited Edition eco-friendly watch aims to turn back the green clock!

If only we could turn back the clock, we can rectify the slip ups that we have incurred on our environment as well as the globe. However since that is impossible, most of us could do with a limited edition watch made form recycled components to keep a tab on the current time. Coming from the house of Quiksilver, only 1000 pieces of The Ray will be shipped out. This green Ray got tagged as eco-friendly due to a number of reasons. Right from the raw material used in the making to the packaging material and also the manner in which it is shipped, all of it has been done in uber eco-friendly manner.

It ticks with many 100 percent recycled parts like aluminum, mineral crystal, anti-allergy 316L stainless steel and solvent free links. It also eliminates the need for a battery as it is fitted with nine ruby stainless steel and brass automatic movement. Somewhere in between all this, you can also find a bit of real ebony wood sourced from sustainable managed forests.
Getting rid of plastic, films and water based inks, The Ray ships in recycled carboard packaging. It also intends to reduce its carbon footprint by being shipped to desired destinations via a boat or truck only. No air travels for The Ray!
