Volkswagen to unveil electric single-seat vehicle

In a bid to cut down on its carbon footprint and emissions, automaker Volkswagen is looking to the greener side for an answer to solve fuel woes. The German car manufacturer is rumored to have drawn up a single seat electric vehicle that is expected to debut in Berlin on the 8th of September. Also, given that the vehicle’s a compact answer to green transportation, we pretty much expect it to be drawn along the lines of the Volkswagen XL1 concept that showed up a while ago, though powered by diesel.

As we wait anxiously to witness the unveiling of Volkswagen’s single-seater, we can’t help imagining this one to revolutionize the automobile market, just like the iconic Beetle did years ago.
