Tesla and Daimler to develop electric Mercedes Benz

Tesla has joined forces with Daimler and will soon begin work on a swank new electric Mercedes Benz. Tesla will supply a powertrain for the Mercedes of the future and will develop a motor, transmission, inverter along with software for the unnamed car. Also, this isn’t the first time Tesla and Daimler have ventured out together, with the former supplying batteries for the Smart ED. There isn’t much spoken in regards to the car in particular, with Tesla and Daimler keeping specifications and rough sketches in check. However, given the reputation of the two automakers, we do expect to see a game-changing electric ride rolling out of Mercedes Benz production facilities in the future!
